Pour en savoir plusWho is Waldo? And the unforeseen impact of finding out!
Waldo is a healthcare user and patient living in a Canadian province. In the context of a large EHR data sharing initiative, managing Waldo's identity directly impacts major business processes associated with client identity resolution. These evolved processes need to constantly generate an identity that is valid between numerous health delivery organizations.
The best place where this can be done reliably is at the point of registration, but can the already constrained resources and stretched healthcare system afford the change? Follow Waldo through his patient identity journey and discover the underestimated process impacts and some mitigation approaches to manage them.
Presenter: David Paré, Enterprise Architect & Executive consultant– JRS Partners Inc.
With almost 15 years in IT, David Paré has comprehensive experience in distributed architecture on large-scale projects around the globe and has accumulated many years of hands-on experience in project management (PMP certified), Enterprise Architecture (TOGAF certified) and Service Management (ITILv3 certified). He was the SOA practice lead at CGI for many years and spent the last four years as a Lead Enterprise Architect on a large scale EHR initiative.
